A Day in the Life

Medtronic is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Maintenance Technician II to join our Danvers location in the Sensight and Molding areas.

In this role, you will ensure the efficient operation of manufacturing equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality standards and support continuous improvement initiatives.

This is an ideal role for a current Medtronic production operator with prior mechanical experience to transition into a technician role.

As a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of manufacturing equipment.

Schedule:

  • 3rd Shift (Sunday - Thursday, 10 pm - 6:30 am ).
  • Must be available to train on 1st shift for the first 30-45 days (Monday - Friday, 6 am - 2:30 pm).

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Performing routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance

  • Operating related equipment, conducting tests, and reporting data in prescribed formats

  • Troubleshooting and repairing equipment issues to minimize production downtime.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve equipment performance challenges.

  • Assisting in the installation, calibration, and validation of new equipment.

  • Maintaining accurate documentation of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

  • Managing assets and spare parts digitally while conducting inventory analysis.

  • Participating in Maintenance Excellence workshops to understand and contribute to improving equipment reliability.

  • Adhering to safety protocols and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Contributing to continuous improvement projects to enhance manufacturing efficiency.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant equipment maintenance or manufacturing experience

  • Full professional proficiency in English communication: speaking, understanding, reading, writing.

Nice to Have: Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the medical device industry

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects effectively, with limited supervision.

  • Experience with equipment qualification and troubleshooting.

  • Experience using common electronic documentation software (e.g., MAP, Agile, or equivalent).

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$49,600.00 - $74,400.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
