Responsibilities
Processes project invoices and addresses any issues or concerns from vendors pertaining to payment disbursement.
Meets Accounts Payable operational standards by contributing information to strategic plans and reviews, implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Ensures that vendors are paid accurately and in a timely manner and proper sales/use tax is applied.
Coaches the project team on Accounts Payable procedures.
Verifies banking details for ACH and wire requests and processes bank payment files via electronic means.
Prepares journal entries and reconciliations for various subledgers and/or supporting documentation.
Completes month end closing processes as assigned.
Assists in the gathering of data for internal and external auditors.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2 years of experience in accounting/finance or equivalent
