Position: Program Coordinator, Psychiatry Research (MBRLC and SERLC)
Location: Boston, MA
Schedule: 40 hours per week

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Director of Metro-Boston Recovery Learning Community (MBRLC) and the Director of the Southeast Recovery Learning Community (SERLC), the Program Coordinator act as a key member of the MBRLC and SERLC teams. The Program Coordinator will coordinate with the Area Program Directors at the SERLC and MBRLC and attend monthly leadership meetings and assist in preparing monthly, 6 month, and annual reports for DMH.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organize marketing efforts and materials for the SERLC and MBRLC
Execute CAIRE Objectives 1-6 for outreach to new communities and Recovery Center improvements for BMC and the SERLC and support the Director to create timelines for completion of goals.
Support the activities of the BMC Peer Community Outreach Worker-(to be determined), work to determine their daily tasks, and follow through as determined by the Director.
Able to facilitate peer support groups when needed in the southeast. Adding support groups to the calendar of the SERLC as desired to offer more support or alternate ideas for the southeast community.
Coordinate the activities of the SERLC Volunteer Committees. Serve as Training Team Coordinator for SERLC.
Create Word, Excel and Power Point documents for presentations, data collection, communications, marketing materials, and trainings as needed. Prepare, execute, analyze and report on the annual Satisfaction and Quality-improvement Survey for SERLC and MBRLC.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Services field.
- At least 3 years of experience working as a peer/person with lived experience in mental health or substance use and peer support group facilitation.
- Website admin experience required (marketing experience preferred.)
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS PREFERRED:
- Massachusetts Peer Specialist Certification preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Strong interpersonal, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and ability to work independently and follow through.
Flexibility in schedule as needed.
Strong computer skills with Zoom, Teams, Google applications, Microsoft applications, graphic design software, and web development software.
Attend SERLC sites at least two times per year.
