Purpose & Scope:
Seeking a technically strong geophysicist with expertise in seismic imaging and data processing, including OBN, FWI, subsalt imaging, and 4D. Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead technical tasks, mentor junior colleagues, and continuously develop expertise while contributing to impactful energy exploration projects.
Provide technical expertise, quality assurance, and project management to ensure high-quality Imaging project delivery.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams on project planning, parameter testing, and technical evaluations to achieve optimal results.
Review project workflows, assist with technical challenges, and maintain client interaction.
Conduct quality control checks and support delivery of production-ready results.
Manage projects or subprojects as assigned, ensuring alignment with client expectations and internal objectives. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow efficiency and innovation.
Collaborate across teams to enhance workflow efficiency, innovation, and knowledge sharing.
Engage with clients to maintain communication, address feedback, and ensure satisfaction.
Contribute to continuous improvement in imaging workflows and project outcomes.
Ensure compliance with QHSSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) standards.
Job Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Geophysics, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field.
10+ years’ experience with strong technical foundation in seismic imaging and data processing with expertise in OBN, FWI, Subsalt Imaging, and 4D.
Proven attention to detail and commitment to high-quality results.
Effective problem-solving and innovation skills.
Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to learning and mentoring.
Ability to work independently as part of a team.
Knowledge of production QC and processes and documentation standards.
Strong project management and organizational skills are preferable.
