Full Circle is seeking an experienced Plant Manager for our growing team!
Daily Duties:
- Support Safety Program as our #1 core value to ensure all employees have a safe environment to work in.
- Implement manufacturing strategies focused on continuous improvement
- Promote Relentless Continuous Improvement to improve efficiency and capacity.
- Develop programs to ensure minimal manufacturing defects.
- Manage all plant operations to achieve economical use of material, personnel, control quality, maintain company equipment and property.
- Mentor Plant Leads
- Develop plant staff for future leadership roles
- Analyze operational costs, investigate variances, plans corrective action, and inform the Vice President of Manufacturing of the cause and action taken to correct.
- Provide analysis of operating results as compared to plan, forecast, and prior periods with accompanying recommendations to correct current deviations
Requirements for the role
- Bachelors Degree, Chemical Engineering highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Manufacturing environment as a manager, supervisor, or team lead of large teams
- Must have ERP experience.
- Formal Lean, Six Sigma, training or certifications
- MUST have solid experience in chemical, food, beverage, pharmaceutical, coatings, etc.
- Multi shift operations management
- Oversee daily direction of production, warehousing and engineering
- Lead plant efforts to ensure customer expectations are met; foster and improve customer communication
- Be the voice of the plant for all departments and shifts, offering regular
communication and process updates via meetings and communication boards - Maximize efficiencies by designing and implementing improved manufacturing strategies and allocating assets and resources to meet safety, quality, cost, delivery, volume and productivity goals
- Manage budgets related to cost savings, operations, etc.
- Foster the importance of a safety-oriented culture within the plant
- Work with maintenance teams on preventative and predictive maintenance efforts with the goal of decreasing equipment downtime
- Lead continuous improvement, 5S and Lean programs at the site to drive
engagement and efficiency - Benchmark, develop, implement, communicate and execute the plant's strategic plan
- Work with the engineering team on CapEx projects to complete in a timely manner and on budget
- Develop your leadership team and create a succession plan for current staff and any potential new hires
- Ensure that key performance indicators are in place and work on monitoring and improving KPIs based on safety, quality, productivity and cost
- Experience overseeing direct and indirect reports across multiple facets of manufacturing (production, maintenance, engineering, quality, etc.)
- Confirm compliance with all federal, state, local and corporate policies, laws and regulations
Travel & Location
- This position is onsite with travel approximately 20%.
