Join an exciting opportunity as an IT Specialist at Romac. In this role, you’ll provide hands-on technical support and ensure reliable IT operations across the organization. You’ll be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting workstations and network connections while supporting both on-site and remote users. You’ll play a key part in strengthening Romac’s technology infrastructure, safeguarding information systems, and ensuring a seamless user experience that helps Romac continue shaping opportunities that make a difference in sustainable water distribution and beyond.

Hours: Mon-Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver excellent customer service by managing and resolving Help Desk tickets in a timely manner
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Mac workstations, peripherals, and software applications
  • Support and troubleshoot network connectivity, RDP environments, and user account management in Active Directory
  • Implement and maintain IT security standards, antivirus solutions, and workstation backup infrastructure
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, assist with IT projects, and provide 24/7 support during outages

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in IT support or systems administration role
  • Strong technical knowledge of Windows and Mac OS environments, Active Directory, networking, and security best practices
  • Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills with a customer-focused approach

Base Compensation Range: $28.00 – $39.18 per hour. Compensation offered will be based on a variety of individual factors, including education and experience, as well as internal equity. Our salary ranges are reviewed and updated each year and employees are eligible for pay increases based on individual performance.
