Low Voltage Electrician-Fire Alarm Installer bei None

Skillforce is currently seeking a skilled Low Voltage Electricians for a project in El Paso, TX. The ideal candidate has a strong background in fire alarm system installation—specifically Honeywell fire alarm systems. This role is ideal for a reliable, detail-oriented technician experienced in EMT conduit work and fire alarm cabling.

Pay Range: $32-35/HR DOE

Responsibilities

• Install, program, and test Honeywell fire alarm systems

• Run and terminate fire alarm cables per code and design specs

• Install and bend EMT conduit up to 1"

• Mount and wire devices such as smoke detectors, pull stations, horn strobes, and control panels

• Perform device terminations and end-to-end system checks

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fire alarm systems and low voltage wiring

• Ensure installations meet NFPA, NEC, and local code compliance

• Communicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, and other trades on site

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience installing fire alarm systems (Honeywell preferred)

• Proficiency with EMT conduit installation (up to 1”)

• Ability to read blueprints and system schematics

• Strong knowledge of low voltage wiring techniques and fire alarm cable routing

• Experience with system testing, inspection, and commissioning

• Must have own tools and reliable transportation

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

• Must be able to pass a background check and a drug screen. 

• NICET certification or state-specific fire alarm license (preferred but not required)
