Primary Purpose

Responsible for facilitation and coordination of master data at the enterprise level for each of the business domains as defined by the Business and Master Data Services team. Provides support in identifying and gathering master data across various major systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) such as Oracle, etc. Works closely with data governance councildata stewards and data analysts across various business organizations in defining report requirements and metrics. Establishes business data definitions and report definitions in conjunction with ensuring data quality and ensures that proper controls/audits are in place using the workflow management tools.  Oversees change management processes and performs impact analysis as it relates to an enterprise view of data, reports and applications. Manages the use of the master data tool (quality, workflow, security) and internal methods for the collection of master data from appropriate knowledge sources (i.e., Sales, suppliers, Purchasing, Quality Assurance, planning sites, etc.) within the business sites. This role will assist with data mappings, data modeling, data profiling, query design, data flow design, data strategy and data governance between multiple databases across multiple platforms. This is an Onsite position.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Implements and executes a data governance framework (design, models, profiles, etc.).
  2. Establishes and monitors data quality standards and procedures.
  3. Creates and maintains master domain data - customers, vendors or items.
  4. Monitors compliance with data governance policies and procedures. Ensures compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
  5. Creates reports and analyses as directed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related subject matter field preferred.
  • 5+ years' relevant experience.
  • Experience developing and implementing data governance frameworks. 
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements.  
  • 1-2 years of Oracle ERP configuration and/or Master Data support experience.  
  • Understanding of master data management (MDM) platforms and tools.
  • 2+ years' accounting experience.
