Job Title: On Mountain Food and Beverage Snowmobile Driver

Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $18.50 to $20.40+, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
Benefits: This is a seasonal position eligible for season pass for employees/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.)
Job Summary:
Receiving food, beverage, and equipment for food and beverage outlets. Organizing and delivery of all product to appropriate locations by snowmobile. Loading and unloading product onto a snowmobile and delivering product to on mountain facilities. Will be responsible for making sure correct products are delivered in a timely manner and also be responsible for organizing the product in the storage areas at the warehouse and on mountain locations using FIFO and food safety guidelines. Will be required to acquire snowcat certification through Copper Mountain and abide by safety regulations of the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Receive products from various food and beverage vendors at the F&B Warehouse.
Load products into a snowmobile while keeping all items organized and safe for transport.
Organizing product by location is essential since there are multiple on mountain dining facilities that might receive a delivery.
Drive the loaded snowmobile to on-mountain dining facilities.
Ability to navigate snowcat in sometimes challenging terrain and weather conditions.
Ensure product gets delivered to appropriate on mountain facilities.
F&B Drivers also must ensure safety of the food items from spill off, soiling or leakage during transit.
Unload the products at the appropriate on-mountain facility, placing all products in appropriate refrigeration, freezer and dry storage areas while rotating product to assure First in, First Out procedure
Help to remove trash and recycling for transport via snowcat to the appropriate trash and recycling location.
Help to transport any other items from on mountain facilities to base area.
Acquire knowledge of Copper Mountain trail system: Recommended hauling routes and roads, building locations, and gas refueling locations.
Operate snowmobile in which to maintain the appearance and quality of resort snow trails and ski slopes to the highest level possible.
Make sure that safety procedures are followed when driving a snowcat. Proper use of PPE, daily safety checklists, etc.
Communicate clearly and effectively via 2-way radio.
Make sure that the snowcat stays in mechanical operating order, fill up the machine with gas, make sure it has enough oil, and communicate any vehicle problems and maintenance needs to the Warehouse Manager.
Driver must observe all on-mountain speed limits and follow the correct routes to and from the restaurants.
Heavy lifting of food and beverage products.
Responsible for the safe delivery of valuable items such as beer and liquor that could be the target of theft.
In compliance with the restaurant handbook and the Copper Mountain Employee Handbook, including grooming standards.
Assists with overall restroom cleanliness and duties when needed.

Is knowledgeable of Copper Mountain Resort properties and products.
General:
Adheres to proper vehicle usage procedures as outlined by corporate policy.
Responsible for any other duty management deems necessary.
Possess knowledge of basic safety practices to include safe lifting of heavy products, snowmobile safety, etc.
Administration Duties:
Make sure that invoices of deliveries are checked and placed in the proper location.
Reports any undelivered items to the F&B Warehouse Manager and each facilities manager.

Basic Requirements:
Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally up to 25 pounds frequently.
Ability to be on one’s feet for excessive time periods up to 8 hours.
Must be able to work in a high alpine environment with changing weather and temperature, often at night with little light.
Must have a valid US Driver’s License.
This position may require the use of a motor vehicle and the employee is subject to comply with the Driver’s Standards of Copper Mountain.
Must own non-slip shoes
Minimum of 1 year snowcat operations
Must be at least 18 years old
Preferred Experience and Special Skills:
Food and Beverage warehouse experience, using hand trucks and pallet jacks.
Food safety experience, with an understanding of proper storage of food and beverage items
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in close proximity to other employees
