PROJECT MANAGER - STACK TESTING (ENVIRONMENTAL EMISSIONS)

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PROJECT MANAGER - STACK TESTING
As a project-level professional, you are the driving force behind our business. Your hard work ensures that we deliver for our clients. Under the supervision of the Stack Testing Division Manager, your essential duties and responsibilities will include:
- Setting up and conducting environmental emission stack testing activities
- Cleaning and assembling stack testing glassware in lab
- Calibrating equipment
- Operating CEMS trailer and DAS
- Act as Test Crew Leader as required
- Driving trucks and trailers to job sites
- Interacting with clients
- Strict adherence to the Stack Testing safety program
- Perform tasks as necessary in the shop and in the lab
- Operate and troubleshoot complex electronic and stack gas conveyance systems in adverse conditions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum five years stack testing experience conducting manual EPA Methods 1 through 5, 8, 17, 23, 29 and 201A/202 and continuous monitoring methods 3A, 6C, 7E, 10, 25A/18
- Must be able to comfortably work at heights (with proper training) and in zoom boom basket (with proper training)
- Must have the ability to travel
- MSHA, OSHA, QSTI training/certification is preferred
- Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs. (single and two-person lift) and work extended hours in the field
- Bachelor's degree preferred (Environmental Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or related field)
- Must possess valid driver's license and company-insurance-carrier-acceptable driving record in order to drive fleet vehicles
- Self-starter, quick learner, and possess effective communication skills
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team

WORK SCHEDULE AND LOCATION
This full-time project management position typically works Monday - Friday. Many projects are located within the Las Vegas metro area and are day trips. Many projects are also located at clients' facilities that require test trailer mobilization and overnight accommodation.
