We are actively hiring a 3rd Grade Teacher for January 2026!

  • You’ll help us develop and teach various subjects in the 3rd grade elementary curriculum.  
  • You’ll deliver lessons, assignments and assessments and oversee the emotional and social development of children.
  • As a genuine team player, you’ll work across the Elementary School division to ensure students are learning and growing.

Job Description

  • Plan and deliver lessons in the core subject areas--math, science, language arts, and social studies
  • Work with colleagues to ensure the best educational experience for students
  • Implement current best practices in each of the subject areas
  • Implement cross-curricular projects and assignments
  • Incorporate standards within Project Based Learning experiences
  • Infuse STEAM elements into existing units and lessons
  • Use standards to deliver hands-on, engaging instruction within each subject while also differentiating for student interests and needs
  • Make sure all standards are being covered in the classroom
  • Determine what’s best developmentally for the students
  • Implement technology resources and opportunities in the core subjects
  • Administer MAP testing (adaptive, standardized testing) within the classroom
  • Represent the division and entire school well
  • Communicate regularly with parents on student progress and events in the classroom
  • Use multiple teaching methods to teach students.
  • Organize and plan lessons.
  • Assess student learning outcomes.
  • Effectively work with students who have unique needs or special requirements.
  • Identify learning barriers and work with students to help them overcome them.
  • Maintain a safe environment for both students and staff members.

 

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in education preferred.
  • Valid teaching certificate.
  • Completion of a student teaching through a degree at a university or teacher training/certification program.
  • At least one year of teaching experience preferred
  • Training in effective instructional methods
  • Good cross-cultural, interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse nationalities and cultures.
  • Excellent analytical skills – with the passion and drive to demonstrate and quantify success.
  • Results orientated with the ability to consistently map efforts against identified KPIs.
  • Excellent time management skills and flexibility in dealing with multi-functional tasks.
  • You’d like to work in a purpose-led sector.
