Primary Responsibilities
- Work directly with stakeholders to understand and transform business requirements into data-driven solutions
- Explore, analyze, and interpret data using data mining and statistical analysis techniques
- Create logical and physical data models
- Prepare reports and data visualizations
- Proactively identify and mitigate data quality issues
- Identify correlations, patterns, and trends in data sets
- Write detailed functional design documents and assisting with gathering business requirements with business users and analysts.
- Develop, implement, and maintain deployments and testing processes for modifications to the data warehouse environments, cubes, reports, Dashboards, etc.
- Train and mentor peers
Skills Required:
- Demonstrated knowledge of SQL and data analysis techniques
- Experience building a variety of reports and visualizations (e.g. Power BI)
- Experience with data modeling tools and methodologies
- Experience with programming (e.g. Python, R, etc.)
- A curious and solution-oriented mindset
