POSITION SUMMARY
The Mobile Center Driver supports the mission of the Center for Human Services by transporting and setting up the 34-foot Mobile Sensory and Accessibility Resource Center at various community events. The ideal candidate will possess excellent truck and trailer driving skills and a strong commitment to customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinates safe transport, efficient setup and use of the Mobile Center to and from community sites.
- Maintains truck and trailer preventative maintenance by ensuring the completion of daily checks and maintenance logs.
- Schedules and coordinates utility and waste services
- Communicates organizations mission and Mobile Center’s purpose in community.
- Precepts new drivers and orients new staff to Mobile Center procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School/HiSET degree.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred
- Clean driving record
- Previous experience in a driving or towing role.
REQUIRED MISCELLANEOUS QUALIFICATIONS
- Must provide proof of personal valid vehicle insurance
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift 10 pounds at times and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Travel as needed, with overnight/weekend stays.
