Why we're hiring
As a dynamic team that is quickly gaining traction with investors and customers, we are looking for a highly organized and proactive Business Operations Coordinator to support our team as we grow. This role will report to the VP of Operations and play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day tasks that keep our startup running smoothly.
We’re looking for a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills who can handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
In this role, you'll help lead:
- Recruiting / HR support
- Writing, posting, and distributing job descriptions
- Coordination and sharing feedback with recruiters and job candidates
- Onboarding support for new team members
- Team coordination
- Plan and organize team All Hands, holiday parties, and social events
- Facilitate team-wide communications, ensuring important information is disseminated and organized appropriately
- Compliance
- Project management for annual compliance audits (SOC 2, ISO 27001)
- Document and gather compliance evidence (vendor security reviews, annual performance reviews, etc.)
- Work with CTO to update security policies and ensure appropriate training across employees and contractors
- Facilities management
- Help select, furnish, and decorate our new office space
- Maintain a welcoming office environment, especially for new employees and guests
- Oversee office supplies, equipment inventory, and snacks/beverages
- Marketing / brand
- Design, order, and manage inventory of company merch
- Help create and share marketing content for social media, email newsletters, networking events, PR announcements, etc.
What you'll need to be successful:

- No specific degree requirements. We value your demonstrable knowledge, experience, and contributions, of which degrees are only a part.
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. You’ll need the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain an efficient approach to document your decisions and workflows.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and familiarity learning new third party systems.
- Basic understanding of finance, HR, legal, and back-office functions.
- Familiarity with common design tools and marketing strategies.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
