Overview:

The Project Controls Manager develops and implements standardized project controls to manage budgets, scheduling, and quality for engineering, construction, and other types of projects. They will work closely with Project Managers regarding financial status, corrective actions and workload projections.

What can you expect on a daily basis?

• Provide support in the management of project budget and cost control functions including budgeting, scheduling, change management, estimating, tracking progress, forecasting, and earned value management.

• Provide support to detailed schedule development based on project understanding from team members.

• Establish project budget, baselines and report variances.

• Provide support to track project progress and perform analysis of bottlenecks, trends and critical path.

• Identify and communicate project risks and develop mitigation plans.

• Prepare project status presentations, highlighting key accomplishments, risks and changes.

• Develop custom projects reports as needed to facilitate project discussions.

• Review and validate contractual compliance of project invoices.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

What qualifications are needed and key to this role?

• 5+ years’ of land development industry experience

• Experience performing budgetary, administrative, and operational system support work; knowledge of theories, principles, and practices of public administration, management, organization, budgeting and financial administration and cost accounting.

• Knowledge of financial budgeting, cost and statistical analysis.

• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Must be able to work 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday with occasional overtime, as needed
