Product Support Sales Representative bei Stowers Machinery

•  Must have strong mechanical aptitude. 
• Good computer and communication skills are required. 
• In-depth knowledge of Caterpillar equipment and how it operates. 
• Must have a valid driver’s license. 
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and drug screening test. 
• Performs a targeted number of generator inspections per week
• Provides recommendations prevalent to lowering their customer's owning and operating costs.   
• Makes regular visits to customers within their territory to develop relationships that will allow them to influence the customer to purchase Stowers Engines parts and service.                                                                                                                               
• Effectively communicates between the customer and the parts and service operations on any problems that may arise. 
• Executes planned daily activities and provides a report for accomplished tasks on a weekly basis. 
• Maintains >90% call performance for all assigned accounts.                                                                                                                                   
• All reports are complete and of good quality.                                                                                                                                
• Meets annual target of preventive maintenance contracts sold in the assigned territory.
• Is knowledgeable and proficient in using software packages essential for performing job duties (MSExcel, MSWord, Lotus Notes).             
• Maintains 100% accuracy for Caterpillar equipment serial numbers on the machine population.                                 
• Effectively promotes focus programs by identifying, pursuing, and penetrating target accounts.                                                                                                                         
• Promotes teamwork within the operation.

• Know and follow all Company and customer safety rules, including maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly work area, fully participating in Company accident prevention and safety improvement activities.
• Must have the physical ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including protective glasses, protective gloves, and protective clothing and footwear as required by the job.

• Maintain a clean, professional personal appearance at all times, meeting all Company standards for professionalism.
• Keep the Manager continually apprised to assist in answering customer questions and problems when necessary.

Work Conditions

• All locations offer clean, safe working conditions; however, the position may work in situations where hazards may be present.

• Must be able to work well under occasional pressure or within work standards and deadlines. 
• Must be able to work independently and/or with others in a team environment. 
• Able to work a standard five-day schedule, including daily overtime and occasional weekend hours as needed.
• Meet all eligibility requirements to drive Company vehicles, including a current, valid driver’s license issued by the resident State. 

Physical Requirements

• Pass a pre-employment background check, physical exam including drug screen, and meet all physical requirements for the position. 
• Able to lift 20-70 pounds occasionally. And push or pull up to 100 pounds.
