Job Summary
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst to join our EPM Finance team. This position is located in San Diego (Torrey Pines), CA.
The EPM Finance Systems Analyst II will serve as an in-house subject matter expert and business partner, providing administration of our OneStream platform. Reporting to the FP&A group, you will collaborate closely with IT and finance stakeholders to optimize planning, budgeting, and a potential consolidation process.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as a liaison between users of business computer systems and the information systems technical staff to: interpret needs into specifications for computer/system implementation, plan and coordinate processing schedules, develop and modify output reports, establish priorities for task completion, and define/modify/update interfaces between other internal and external computer systems
- Platform Management: Configure and maintain OneStream application modules for planning, budgeting, and consolidation (not at first instance). This includes managing data integrations, loading routines, and transformation rules.
- Reporting & Analytics: Design, develop, and deploy financial and management reports using OneStream reporting features. Build and validate calculation scripts, smart lists, and dashboards.
- Continuous Improvement: Partner with FP&A, accounting, and operational teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Propose creative enhancements to streamline processes and improve data accuracy. Identify, review, and recommend new/upgraded software, hardware and/or computer systems that will facilitate/enhance business operations.
- Collaboration: Act as a central point of contact for OneStream system issues, collaborating with colleagues and IT to drive timely resolution. Maintain comprehensive documentation for system processes and user training.

Job Qualifications
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree and three or more years experience with a general knowledge of the department's business practices, techniques, standards and related software/hardware, and computer systems. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary.
- Experience with SAP ERP as a source system is desired.
- Desired experience in developing reports and coordinating report development from business systems.
- Working familiarity of SQL, data loading tools, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, VB/VBA) is a bonus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage system configurations, upgrades, and patches.
