Position Summary

We are seeking a Director of Total Rewards to lead the design and execution of our global compensation, benefits, and rewards strategy supporting both shipboard and shoreside Ladies & Gentlemen. This role will partner with key stakeholders, HR, Finance, and business leadership to ensure competitive pay structures, market alignment, and innovative rewards programs that drive attraction, retention, and engagement.


The ideal candidate will bring expertise in compensation design, market benchmarking, and benefits management, paired with strong analytical acumen and the ability to partner effectively.
 

Key Responsibilities

Compensation Management:

  • Lead the compensation review process, ensuring market competitiveness, internal equity, and alignment with company goals.
  • Oversee annual compensation planning, including salary budgeting, forecasting, and incentive plans.
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and job market analysis across regions to ensure alignment with industry standards.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to leadership on compensation structures and pay strategies.


Benefits Strategy

  • Lead strategy and evaluation of all employee benefit programs, including health, retirement, wellness, and leave policies.
  • Conduct cost analyses and make recommendations for optimizing benefit offerings in line with company objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations across shoreside and shipboard populations.
  • Partner with vendors to manage benefits enrollment, communications, and day-to-day administration.


Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Develop and maintain metrics, dashboards, and reports related to compensation and benefits.
  • Provide analytical insights and trends to support decision-making on rewards and employee retention strategies.
  • Ensure accuracy of compensation and benefits data across HR systems.

Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Lead and develop the Total Rewards team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership and business stakeholders to align total rewards strategies with business goals.
  • Stay current on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting compensation and benefits.
  • Collaborate with payroll teams to resolve issues, and ensure integration with compensation and benefits strategies.
  • Ensure alignment of payroll policies and procedures with broader compensation and benefits strategies.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • 7-10 years of combined experience in total rewards, compensation, and benefits administration
  • Experience in the maritime, cruise, or hospitality industries
  • Expertise in compensation benchmarking, salary structures, and market analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and present data effectively
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage teams and collaborate across departments
  • Proficient with Workday. Adonis experience is a plus
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Certification in compensation or benefits (e.g., CCP, CEBS) is a plus


Work Environment

  • Location: Downtown Fort Lauderdale
  • Hybrid (3 days in office)
