Position Summary:

We are looking for proven sales leader to join our team to develop and lead a team focused on Infection Control products across the U.S. Reporting to the Vice President of Customer Experience, this role is a key member of the Commercial Leadership team. The Sales Manager plans, executes and drives our sales strategy and delivers on CIVCO’s revenue growth goals in partnership with other Sales Managers, Marketing, Sales Operations, Corporate Accounts and other key functions.
Responsible for managing a team of 6 infection control sales reps in a hybrid capacity of remote and in-person selling activities and delivering on company revenue and EBITDA goals .
Primary Location: United States (US) – Iowa – Coralville or Remote
This position is eligible for remote work at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.
Your Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Development — Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and retain a high-performing sales team; ensure performance and compliance with company policies.
- Sales Strategy & Execution — Build and implement sales plans to achieve revenue and EBITDA goals; analyze performance data to set quarterly sales direction and adjust tactics as needed.
- Performance Management — Oversee pipeline health, territory alignment, quota setting, and compensation plans; conduct business reviews, field visits, and provide coaching and feedback.
- Customer & Market Engagement — Lead joint customer visits, strengthen key account relationships, monitor industry trends and competition, and adjust strategies proactively.
- Channel & Account Development — Expand business opportunities through OEMs, distributors, and support negotiation of purchase agreements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration — Work closely with Marketing, Inside Sales, Corporate Accounts, Finance, and Customer Service to deliver business solutions and growth initiatives.
- Data-Driven Sales Management — Use Salesforce.com, Tableau, and reporting tools to track performance, support territory planning, and guide decision-making.
- Sales Continuity — Cover open sales territories when needed to maintain business momentum.

What Skills You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university
- Minimum 4 years’ successful sales experience, including 3 years of successful medical device sales experience with at least 2 to end users, strategic accounts, IDNs, GPOs
- Proven ability to professionally develop and coach team members.
- Strategy development, project management, problem solving, sales analytic skills.
- Understanding of healthcare and regulatory requirements and issues.
- Exceptional selling and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build positive working relationships, both internally and externally.
- Self-motivated, driven individual that needs minimum oversight.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
What Makes You Stand Out:
- 2 years of successful experience selling capital equipment preferred
- 2 years of successful Sales Management experience preferred.
- Demonstrated success using data analytics to guide sales activities and performance
Travel
- Willing, able and committed to travel up to 50%.
