Alignment Technician - Full-Time bei Extreme Auto Design

Extreme Auto Design is seeking a skilled and motivated Alignment Technician to join our team. This individual will be primarily responsible for performing precision wheel alignments on a variety of vehicles, while also handling related suspension, steering, and tire services. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate four-wheel alignments using alignment machines and manufacturer specifications.

• Diagnose and repair issues related to vehicle suspension, steering components, and tire wear.

• Install and balance tires and wheels as needed.

• Replace or repair steering and suspension components including control arms, tie rods, ball joints, shocks, struts, and bushings.

• Road-test vehicles to ensure proper alignment and handling.

• Communicate findings and recommendations to service advisors and other team members.

• Maintain alignment and tire equipment in clean and functional condition.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations.

• Ensure all work meets manufacturer standards and customer expectations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred.

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in automotive alignments or suspension/steering repair.

• Proficiency in using computerized alignment equipment (e.g., Hunter, John Bean, etc.).

• Understanding of vehicle suspension, steering, and wheel/tire systems.

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

• ASE Certification(s) a plus but not required.

• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.

• Able to stand, bend, squat, and work in various positions throughout the day.

• Comfortable working in a shop environment with occasional exposure to loud noises, dust, and chemicals.
