We’re seeking a dependable, hands-on leader to support and guide our custodial team in maintaining safe, clean, and welcoming school facilities. The Lead Night Custodian plays a vital role in ensuring our buildings reflect pride in our district and provide a positive learning environment for students and staff. This position combines leadership, coordination, and active participation in custodial duties, promoting teamwork, accountability, and excellence across all evening custodial operations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of prior Custodial experience 
• Leadership experience within custodial or maintenance fields preferred
• Basic computer skills are essential for communicating with staff.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisor, staff members, students, and the general public.
• Must have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude. 
• Passage of Fingerprint-based Criminal Background check required at employee’s expense upon offer of employment.
• Possess valid Oregon driver's license.
• Ability to acquire First Aid/CPR card.
• Upon employment, employee will complete training in asbestos awareness and bloodborne pathogens.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prefer at least 3-5 years custodial experience in a school setting and a minimum of 1 year relevant recent supervisory experience.
• Has knowledge of OR-OSHA requirements that apply to assigned duties.
• Working knowledge/training in modern cleaning methods and the use and care of cleaning materials and equipment.
