NFI Massachusetts Inc., a non-profit human services agency, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Residential Supervisor to join our residential youth programs located in Haverhill, Wilmington, Beverly, Peabody, and Amesbury, MA.
Our residential programs support youth in need of temporary out-of-home placement and serve adolescents and transitional-age youth (ages 12–22) with emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges, often with histories of complex trauma. Youth are referred through the Department of Children and Families (DCF).
About the Role:
The Residential Supervisor is responsible for the overall day-to-day management of the program, including oversight of staff, youth, and daily operations. This role provides leadership, ensures a safe and therapeutic environment, and supports the development of both staff and youth through trauma-informed, strengths-based approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct supervision, coaching, and evaluation of Residential Counselors.
- Oversee the implementation of structured daily routines and program activities.
- Ensure a safe, supportive, and consistent environment for youth and staff.
- Maintain administrative oversight of daily tasks, documentation, and program procedures.
- Collaborate with program leadership to uphold agency policies, procedures, and standards of care.
- Serve as a positive role model for staff and youth, promoting growth, accountability, and teamwork.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; college coursework in human services or related field preferred.
- At least one year of experience working in a residential setting with youth is required.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Status: Full-time | Hourly Rate: $25.00
