EC3005 Mfg Process Engr bei Nashville Wire Products

Statement of Purpose:

Performs a variety of engineering work in planning and design of products, machines and other mechanically functioning equipment and industrial processes and oversees manufacturing process flow, installation, operation, work and p.m. instructions, and repair of equipment. This position will analyze the process and material flow around the facility to increase production quality, efficiency, or volume. Will report to Engineering Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

• Study production and machine requirements

• Develops and test experimental machinery, equipment, or systems.

• Use of computer aided drafting and designs

• Resolve issues and delays in production.

• Records test procedures and results and makes recommendations for changes in equipment, products, or methods.

• Collaborate with other employees, contractors, and suppliers.

• Conducts organization studies and establish time standards.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirement and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years work experience in related field required.

• Teamwork skills

• Well versed in relevant software (CADD, Solid works/Inventor, MS Office)

• Problem Solving ability.

• Excellent technical skills

• Knowledge of both AC and DC electricity.

• Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics.

• Knowledge in ladder Logic.

• Ability to read and write prints.

• Communicate well with others.

• Ability to work under pressure.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in units of measure.
