Our client, Turf Medic in Greencastle, PA, is currently seeking a year-round dependable Lawn Care Technician to join their expanding team. As a small family-owned business dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service with a personal touch, they are looking for a candidate who is excited about the opportunity to help clients keep their lawns looking their best and making the local communities greener, one lawn at a time.
As a Lawn Care Technician, you will be set up for success with hands-on training, whether you are new to the industry or a seasoned pro. Key responsibilities include the following:
- Applying fertilizers, weed control, and other treatments with a ride-on machine to keep lawns lush and healthy.
- Operating and maintaining equipment like ride on applicators and small tractors.
- Communicating with clients to ensure their satisfaction and address any questions.
- Keeping a sharp eye out for lawn issues (weeds, pests, or damage) and reporting them to the team.
- Maintaining a professional, friendly attitude while representing the company.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Previous experience in lawn care or landscaping is a plus but not necessary. Will provide training for the right candidate.
- A love for outdoor work and a can-do attitude.
- Good communicator who is courteous, professional, and honest.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Physical ability to handle the demands of the job, including lifting equipment and working in various weather conditions.
- Ability to work up to 50 hours per week (overtime eligible), Monday through Friday, 6am to 5pm.
- Punctual, reliable, and self-motivated team player.
