Overview:

As the Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences through strategic leadership, operational oversight, and team development. You’ll drive service excellence, ensure smooth execution, and maintain high standards across all aspects of food and beverage operations.

Restaurant General Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing daily operations of both Tide to Table and Tide Beach Bar, including team supervision, scheduling, and performance management

  • Recruiting, training, and developing team members to uphold high service and operational standards

  • Monitoring inventory levels and placing orders to maintain uninterrupted service and product availability

  • Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations and maintaining a spotless and welcoming environment

  • Designing and executing training programs that elevate service quality and operational efficiency

  • Managing budgets, tracking financial performance, and implementing cost control strategies to improve profitability

  • Cultivating a positive, collaborative workplace culture that encourages accountability and engagement

  • Addressing guest feedback, questions, and concerns with professionalism and urgency

  • Utilizing POS systems for effective order processing, reporting, and overall sales management

  • Other duties as assigned

‎ :

What are we looking for?

  • Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality business, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the resort, including weekends and holidays

  • Prior experience in a restaurant management role required; prior General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience strongly preferred

  • Experience in elevated, high-volume, or casual dining environments preferred

  • Strong knowledge of both Front of House and Back of House operations

  • Demonstrated success in a leadership role within food and beverage

  • Solid understanding of restaurant financials and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control

  • Proven ability to train and mentor team members to consistently deliver high-quality service

  • Familiarity with POS systems and their role in supporting smooth operations

  • Passion for providing exceptional service to guests and team members

  • Responsibility, reliability, and honesty

  • Teamwork and collaboration

  • Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with guests, coworkers and supervisors
