Join Our Team as a Substitute Cook Aide!
Position: Part-Time, Non-Exempt
Hours: Flexible, typically between 6:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Are you looking for a meaningful role where you can support a positive environment for children and staff? Our Substitute Cook Aide helps keep our kitchen running smoothly while contributing to a welcoming and nurturing atmosphere.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist our Cook in preparing meals and snacks.
- Wash dishes and maintain a clean, organized kitchen and dining area.
- Help with table setting and meal service as needed.
- Transport food and supplies between program sites.
- Take over cooking duties in the Cook’s absence (training provided).
- Support classroom staff by washing toys and maintaining cleanliness in shared spaces.
- Keep open communication with the Cook and follow all program policies and procedures.

Requirements
Possess a high school diploma or GED OR, an eighth-grade education. and two years’ experience. Must possess a valid PA driver’s license.
