The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Solution Architect to join the team in Seattle, WA; Everett, WA; Renton, WA; Tukwila, WA; Berkeley, MO; St. Charles, MO; or Hazelwood, MO.
The Solution Architect will lead the design and implementation of integration solutions focused on Human Resources (HR) applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong architectural background, with expertise in system integrations, Application Programming Interface (API) management, and process optimization. This role will be pivotal in enhancing our integration landscape while ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance standards.
Position Responsibilities:
Serves as the primary architect for designed HR applications consulting with providing scalable and efficient design solutions
Analyzes and evaluates existing time tracking and absence processes to identify areas for architectural improvement, while refraining from direct evaluation of payroll systems
Demonstrates expertise in integration processes relevant to HR applications while recognizing that certain integrations may not be applicable
Leverages extensive knowledge of system architecture and experience with third-party application integrations
Supports pre- and post-activity audits related to time tracking and absence, ensuring architectural compliance and best practices are followed
Utilizes knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and architecture concepts
Assists in resolving input errors and other issues from third-party vendors or internal stakeholders, conducting root cause analysis and architectural reviews as needed
Contributes to the design, documentation, building, unit testing, and functional tasks, ensuring architectural integrity
Supports data extraction, audit controls, and data quality alerts, ensuring architectural compliance
Provides end-user support for troubleshooting and issue remediation, from an architectural perspective
Investigates problems and identify opportunities for architectural solutions, managing escalations to the appropriate support team as necessary
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in system architecture and integrations related to HR Applications
Experience with API design and management (REST/SOAP)
Experience with ERP systems and third-party application integrations
Experience with analytical, architectural design, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Master’s degree
Experience with communication and leadership skills
Experience working and collaborating across teams

Summary pay range: $122,400 - $177,100
