Job Purpose

We are looking for a Senior Analyst to serve as a strategic financial partner to our leadership team. This person will translate complex business data into actionable financial and strategic insights. Your primary goal will be to drive effective resource prioritization and crucial investment decisions by developing robust financial models, creating compelling business cases for new initiatives, and establishing clear financial reporting standards within the Host Services domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning & Insight: Analyze large amounts of historical data to uncover actionable insights that inform and steer strategic decisions related to supply growth and overall program design.
• Investment & Financial Modeling: Conduct rigorous quantitative analyses (e.g., ROI, scenario testing) to size business opportunities, develop comprehensive forecasting models, and build persuasive investment cases for new product features and initiatives.
• Performance Reporting: Establish a clear and disciplined financial reporting cadence, monitor key business metrics, and generate regular, concise reports for senior stakeholders across the organization.
• Cross-Functional Influence: Collaborate seamlessly with teams including Operations, Data Science, Advanced Analytics, and Product to ensure strategic alignment and provide essential ad-hoc support for key Host Services initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience & Education: A minimum of 3+ years of relevant professional industry experience with a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science).
• Background: Prior professional experience in strategic finance, business analytics, investment banking, or consulting is mandatory. Experience in a fast-paced marketplace or platform setting is strongly preferred.
• Technical Mastery: Demonstrated expert-level proficiency in modeling techniques, including the ability to manage large datasets, develop novel analytical frameworks, and effectively extract actionable, high-value insights.
• Tools: Familiarity with SQL for data querying and experience utilizing data visualization tools to synthesize and communicate complex information clearly.
• Strategic Acumen: Exceptional business acumen and strategic thinking skills, coupled with a proven ability to make sound, informed judgments and drive impactful change in dynamic, often unstructured environments.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong capability to work cross-functionally and influence decisions across various organizational functions.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Operations).
