Health Images is looking to add a Patient Services & Clinical Support Supervisor
to our Women's Imaging Longmont Center.
|Position pay range: $49,450 - $61,800 |Monday - Friday; 8:00 am - 4:30 pm |We are seeking applicants with leadership experience along with an active Medical Assistant Certification |

Summary/Objective:  

The Patient Services & Clinical Support Supervisor is a dual-function leadership role responsible for overseeing the Patient Care Team while actively supporting clinical operations to ensure an exceptional patient experience. This position blends administrative supervision with hands-on clinical support, fostering seamless collaboration between front office staff, technologists, and referring provider offices.

Essential Functions

1.     Supervises the Patient Care Team, ensuring high standards of patient service and operational efficiency.

2.     Manages time-off requests, timecard corrections, and participates in supervisor trainings and corporate reporting.

3.     Maintains and completes assigned worklists in a timely and accurate manner.

4.     Collaborates with the Performance Improvement Team to coordinate onboarding and ongoing training for new and        existing staff.

5.     Conducts clinical history interviews and reviews pre-screening forms and consents for completeness.

6.     Prepares biopsy trays using sterile technique, draws up medications, and sets trays according to protocol. Ensures the whole biopsy process is maintained from paperwork, confirmation and next day post procedure calls.

7.     Requests and validates prior reports and images, ensuring timely clinical review before patient exams.

8.     Provides backup support to the Patient Care Team as needed.

9.     Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position provides daily leadership and operational support to the center team. This position is responsible for hiring employees and conducting performance evaluations.

Work Environment

This job operates in an outpatient clinical environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Potential exposure to radiation, which is minimized by the use of Personal Protective Equipment. Possible exposure to bodily fluids, communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation and other conditions common to a medical office environment. Often requires work in cool, dimly lighted rooms.

Job Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

·       Proven experience in patient services, medical assisting or healthcare administration.

·       Familiarity with clinical protocols and sterile technique preferred.

·       Previous supervisory or lead experience.

·       Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player.

·       Ability to navigate administrative and clinical responsibilities.

·       Ability to excel in a very fast-paced team environment.

·       Ability to continuously “exceed” company and customer expectations.

Education/Certifications:

·       Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent (GED) – continuing education preferred.

·       Active CPR certification.

·       Medical Assistant certification/registration required.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

None required for this position.
