Homeoffice Adjunct Instructor – Administrative Office Professional bei Kilgore College

Position Details:

This position is part of the teaching faculty within the Business and Information Technology department and reports to the Department Chair. Administrative Office Professional instructors that can teach online and live in the state of Texas are needed.
 

Responsibilities:

• Teaching one or more Administrative Office Professional courses
• Developing appropriate course syllabi
• Working with students as needed
• Courses may be online or hyflex
• Adjunct faculty members teach and supervise all learning experiences and evaluate student performance in the classroom
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Candidates must have earned an associate’s degree or higher in Office Administration or Computer Technology.
• Candidates must also have several years of office administration experience.
• Additional certification related to office administration is a plus.
• Preference will be given to applicants with previous college teaching experience.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
• No or very limited physical effort required; however, the employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
• No or very limited exposure to physical risk.

Safety:

• Provide resources for safe operation of units. Create and support workplace safety.

Salary Range & Fringe Benefits:

• Salary for adjunct faculty members is based upon level of education and range from $1,900 per 3-hour course for a master's degree to $2,100 per 3-hour course for a doctorate.
