As an Accounts Receivable Manager, you will oversee the entire process of collecting payments from BearComs customers. The main responsibilities for this role include managing invoices, handling missed payments and supervising Accounts Receivable Specialists. The ideal candidate is familiar with all accounting procedures and can manage daily financial transactions end-to-end.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day to day operations of the Accounts Receivable Department.
  • Train and oversee the team of A/R Specialists that handle the input of lock-box, wire transfers, credit card charges, credits and customer refunds as well as website payment reconciliation.
  • Process tax credits and debits.
  • Work along Commissions Department to keep track of commission plans and submit the information monthly for payment.
  • Provide customer service regarding their accounts, payments, reconciliations, etc.
  • Help with other projects as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field preferred
  • 7-10 years of work experience in a mid-sized organization
  • Proven work experience as an Accounts Receivable Manager or Supervisor.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software.
  • Familiarity with advanced formulas in MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical skills along with the ability to create and present detailed reports.
  • Ability to accurately process numerical data.
  • Team management and negotiation skills.
  • Problem-solving attitude and confidentiality.
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance a plus.
  • CPA certification is a plus
  • 3-5 years of experience managing people
  • Must be systems-oriented
  • JD Edwards software or similar ERP package experience is a plus
  • Background checks are part of the hiring process, which may include a motor vehicle check.
  • Drug screenings and background checks are part of the hiring process, which may include a Motor Vehicle Record check.
