MRI Technologist - PRN (no weekends) bei Seattle Radiology Imaging Center

We're hiring for a per-diem MRI technologist to join our Seattle Radiology team. Our ideal candidate is patient-focused, compassionate and dedicated to delivering exceptional care with a commitment to clinical excellence. 
 

Compensation: 

The salary range is $50.83/hourly to $79.43/hourly, plus 15% per-diem. The salary is based on multiple factors, including job-related years of experience, skills and employment status.

Located in beautiful Seattle, Washington. Nestled between the shimmering waters of Puget Sound and the towering peaks of the Cascade and Olympic Mountains, Seattle offers breathtaking views and abundant outdoor activities. Hours:  Per Diem - Week Days/ Day Shift.  This position is in an outpatient setting, no weekends or evenings.

Position Summary:

• Utilizes an MRI scanner and power injector. Starts IVs and administers various contrast agents
• Appropriately protocol all orders in advance 
• Properly screen orders prior to scan for any precautions or contraindications including, but not limited to implanted devices 
• Provides patient care services in a professional and compassionate manner
• Organizes and monitors patient flow to meet company productivity, quality, health, and safety standards
• Ability to de-escalate conflict situations with minimal supervisory assistance but able to recognize when a situation is beyond individual training/expertise and requires assistance

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Advanced registry certification in MRI required
  • Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program
• Washington State MRI Technologist license required 
• Current certification in healthcare CPR
• Experience as a successful MRI tech preferred
• Demonstrates a professional demeanor in appearance and behavior in all work-related interactions
