Job Description
25% - Attend every FIN 230 class from 3:30-4:20 pm on Thursdays in Capitol Federal Hall.
20% - Track students and assign a daily engagement score.
20% - Update grades for assignments and daily scores in a timely manner.
20% - Answer student questions and communicate necessary information.
10% - Alert the instructors to issues as needed.
5% - Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
- Be admitted to the School of Business for Spring 2026.
- Completed FIN 230 or equivalent and earned an A for the course (if you are currently in FIN 230, you must have an A or expect to attain one once final grades are posted).
- Finance major.
- Overall GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Ability to attend class every at the time listed above and work approximately 2-3 hours per week.
- Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Spring 2026.
- Integrity and ability to model professionalism to fellow students.
- Strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Be involved in activities and leadership at KU and/or within the School of Business and be able to speak to those activities with students.
- Have a strong sense of their own career objectives.
- Strong academic profile.
- Intention to work in the upcoming semester as a T.A. if possible (day and time TBA).
- Preference given to sophomores and juniors.
