Laborer - Maintenance Department bei Port Neches-Groves School District

• Mowing and detailing of campus grounds throughout the district
• Assist skilled workers with repair and maintenance of district facilities, including repairing woodwork; replacing electrical switches, fixtures, and motors; painting, repairing, and replacing plumbing fixtures and drainage systems; and replacing broken glass
• Perform maintenance and minor repairs
• Complete repairs as requested on work orders or by maintenance supervisor
• Other duties as assigned.     

QUALIFICATIONS:    Must hold at least a high school diploma or GED

                                  Valid Texas driver’s

• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbally)
• Ability to operate power and hand tools
• Ability to work independently
