Qualifications
Education and Training:
- Requires a high school diploma or GED.
- Requires a current NAC certificate or be prepared to acquire one.
- Must have a valid Washington State license and be eligible for the tribes vehicle insurance and maintain throughout employment.
- Must have a current Food Handler's Card or be prepared to acquire one.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Requires knowledge of long-term care setting.
- Requires demonstrated ability in dealing with emotionally and/or physically impaired individuals.
- Requires ability to read, write, and understand the English language.
- Requires ability to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 30 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry said weight a minimum of 100 feet.
- Requires demonstrated ability to deal with long term care resident needs.
Note: Pursuant to Tribal Policy, if this position is safety sensitive it is subject to pre-employment drug testing. In addition, this position is subject to reasonable suspicion and post-accident drug testing.
TRIBAL MEMBER AND INDIAN PREFERENCE WILL APPLY; PREFERENCE WILL ALSO BE GIVEN TO HONORABLY DISCHARGED VETERANS WHO ARE MINIMALLY QUALIFIED.
If required of this position, you must possess and maintain a valid Washington State driver’s license and be eligible for the Tribes’ Vehicle Insurance. In addition, this position may be subject to pre-employment background clearances. If applicable, these clearances must be maintained throughout employment.
