Range: $22 - 26/hr
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 9AM-5PM and Friday 9AM-2PM

Precision Diagnostics, based in San Diego, California is a fast-growing clinical laboratory that specializes in providing drug testing, primarily for the purpose of helping physicians monitor their patients undergoing treatment for pain or substance abuse. Precision’s objective is to improve patient adherence/compliance with their prescription regimen and protect medical practices from liability.

Collect and process laboratory specimens in a manner that improves outcomes for all stakeholders: patient, provider, payer, and laboratory

Collect specimens according to established procedures. Tests include, but not limited to:

Facilitates the collection, processing, and shipping of laboratory specimens

Accurate data collection and data entry pertinent to laboratory orders and testing

Maintains neat, clean, orderly client/work areas at all times

Maintains hygiene and dress code according to company standards

Flexibility to cover last minute shift changes, and work in multiple locations as requested to meet the needs of our clients and patients

Ensure all data entry accuracy findings are processed and communicated with direct supervisor

Treat new specimen collectors and expert specimen collectors with respect and professionalism
-
Accurately collect, label, verify patient and ship specimens per policies
-
Collect and troubleshoot any missing information at the time of specimen collection
-
Communicate opportunities for process improvement with leadership

Communicate with supervisor on identified training needs of team
-
Identification and accuracy of billing information entry, knowledge of, and acts in alignment with corporate policies

Certifications as required for specimen collection

High School Diploma or GED
-
1+ year of Precision Diagnostics specimen collector experience
-
>98% Data Entry Accuracy in trailing 3 months
-
All Precision training and education up to date
-
Meets all performance expectations of specimen collector
-
Full-time, hourly position
-
Schedule: Mon/Tues/Thurs 9am - 5pm and Fri 9am - 2pm
