Description

The Operations Planning Analyst proactively plans the flow of work to maximize productivity outcomes and ensuring all stages of inbound/outbound activities are completed on time. The Operations Planning Analyst must be able to estimate progress of work and completion times. Responsibilities include tracking inbound/outbound freight shipments, reviewing and distributing paperwork, and monitoring activities, materials and surroundings.

• Must be sure all details of the job are done and their work is exact. Errors could slow productivity and cost the company money.
• Must be aware of changes in shipping/receiving progress.
• Must be able to go back and forth between two or more activities or sources of information without becoming confused.
• Must have strong knowledge and be proficient in using the computer.
• May require flexibility in work hours.

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of inventory control/traffic experience in a computerized operation.
• Good math skills
