We currently have a role available for an Instrument Maintenance Scientist.

 

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Hands-on troubleshooting and maintaining LC/MS and Teledyne/ISCO instrumentation including:
    • Checking and refilling solvents.
    • Handling and disposing of waste appropriately.
  • Conducting Performance Qualification (PQ) data review and adjusting instrumentation as needed.
  • Ensuring PQ data is imported into proper database and maintaining database.
  • Performing preventative maintenance activities at regular intervals (weekly, monthly, etc.).

 

Job requirements include, but are not limited to:

 

  • BS-Chemistry (or related field) with 3+ years of experience in an industrial laboratory environment (pharma preferred).
    • Preference will be given to candidates with experience routinely maintaining and troubleshooting instrumentation.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Works well both within a team and as an individual.
  • Demonstration of excellent team player and collaboration skills, very strong attention to detail, very strong problem-solving skills, a high level of learning agility, and the ability to work across functions.
  • The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the leadership and communication skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment with flexibility and an adaptable approach to goal delivery.
