Requirements / Qualifications

Applications WILL NOT be considered without the following document(s) attached to this application before application deadline: (1) Possession of a Master's degree in Clinical Social Worker (2) Acceptance by the California State Board of Behavioral Sciences or the Board of Psychology as a candidate for licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or a valid license by California Board of Behavioral Science as Licensed Clinical Social Worker. (3) Valid Driver's License and Evidence of insurability (4) Complete application in its entirety (Record of Work Experience, Resume's are accepted but do not replace record of work experience) (5) Completion of the Target Success Sketch is required and must be completed before application deadline. SUMMARY Under the direction of the Executive Director of Student Support Services or designee, the School Social Worker assists identified high risk/need students by providing strategic services that identify and address the social-emotional-environmental issues that interfere with the educational process; provides interpretation services for both oral communication between English and a designated second language. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be able to read, write and speak Spanish. Possession of a Master’s degree in clinical social work. Acceptance by the California State Board of Behavioral Sciences or the Board of Psychology as a candidate for licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or a valid license by California Board of Behavioral Science as Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
