Pay Details: The pay range for the Sales Manager is $50,000 - $110,000+ / year Plus performance-based bonuses

Location: 7801 Alma Dr.  Ste 129  Plano, TX 75025

Note: Incumbent will receive training at the Farmers Branch location in preparation for transitioning to our brand-new Plano office, which is set to open in December.

What You Will Do:

• Supervise the sales team’s daily performance and/or targets.
• Expand business by proactively building relationships with existing customers to meet the agreed-upon production and active customer goals. Ability to educate and advise the customer on which products best fit their needs.
• Coach members of the sales team to deliver a standard of customer care consistently.
• Oversee the sales team to achieve operational targets by providing business plans, and monitoring the performance of the sales team to ensure the specific portfolios of business performances are met.
• Deals with any escalated customer service issues and questions that may arise
• Increases new business by initiating contact with prospects through local store marketing efforts, community involvement, cold-calling (face-to-face and phone), quote calls, and walk-ins to build interest, match needs with products and services, and close the sale to meet the agreed upon production and active customer goals.
• Executes all aspects of Branch Operational Excellence (BOE)

Key Attributes:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active Property & Casualty license
• 2+ years of Property & Casualty Insurance sales or service experience
• 3+ years of Staff Management experience
• Minimum 1 year of Commercial Lines experience
• Proven track record of the ability to generate new business sales, or retain existing business, or cross-sell other lines of business
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work well on a team
• Precise verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to deliver a tailored, white-glove experience to all clients

Preferred Attributes:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2+ years of Commercial Lines experience
• Prior Agency Owner
• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
