Job Title: Mid-Level Practitioner – Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mid-Level Practitioner in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavior analysis, experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, and the ability to supervise and support behavior technicians. This role involves providing direct one-to-one therapy, conducting assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, and ensuring effective implementation of ABA strategies to enhance client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct one-to-one therapy with assigned learners, as needed
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Implement evidence-based ABA interventions and monitor client progress
  • Supervise and provide guidance to behavior technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
  • Implement evidenced-based ABA interventions and monitor client progress
  • Perform comprehensive skills assessments and use results to guide treatment decisions
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment effectiveness
  • Supervise and provide guidance to behavior technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
  • Train BT/RBTs on behavior intervention techniques and data collection procedures
  • Provide constructive feedback to team members while modeling appropriate leadership qualities
  • Support an average of 10 technicians, adjusting as needed to ensure client needs are met
  • Maintain/meet goal of a minimum of 100 billable client service hours monthly
  • Ensure authorization utilization via regularly scheduled client observation, supervision sessions, and ongoing parent/caregiver consultation
  • Communicate effectively across departments, particularly with scheduling, to optimize service delivery
  • Stay current with advancements in ABA research and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with ethical and professional standards in behavior analysis

  • Demonstrate professional problem-solving approaches, including appropriate escalation protocols when necessary
  • Potential to work with BCBAs in meetings with families and interdisciplinary professionals (e.g., teachers, doctors, speech therapists) to coordinate care

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree and twelve semester units in applied behavior analysis, and one year of experience in designing and/or implementing behavior modification intervention services; OR
  • A Bachelor's degree and two years of experience in designing and/or implementing behavior modification intervention services.
  • Must have active RBT Certification and maintain this certification in good standing (unless and until BCaBA or BCBA certification is obtained)
  • If the current employee, must be in good standing (i.e., no documented history of performance concerns or disciplinary action)
  • Available to work flexible hours including evenings (and potentially weekends to accommodate client needs)
  • Reliable transportation and ability to provide in person supervision within a designated region
  • Experience with electronic health record systems (Central Reach experience preferred)
  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis
