Job Summary:
Perform
assembly, disassembly, cleaning and repairing of valves, motors, and blowers in
a safe, effective and efficient manner in order to deliver a quality product to
our customer.
Job Responsibilities:
· Disassembly, cleaning, repair, and reassembly of valves, motors, and
blowers
· Perform analysis to trouble-shoot and ascertain failure causes
· Setup and perform tests for functional acceptance
· Perform maintenance in accordance with technical information
· Comply with all Safety requirements of the position and the facility.
· Follow the policies outlined in the Employee handbook and the posted Work
Rules for ASC.
· Behave in an ethical and professional manner at all times.

Job Qualifications:
Required
· Strong mechanical aptitude
· Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical manuals
· Good written and communication skills
· Computer literacy
· Experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment
· Highly disciplined problem solver with a strong work history and
attention to detail
· Proven ability to work independently with self-motivation to improve
production
· Basic shop math skills are necessary so that essential calculations may
be performed throughout the assembly process.
· The flexibility to work overtime on weekdays and weekends, as dictated by
the workload, will be a requirement for this position.
Preferred
· Experience with light aerospace equipment maintenance
· Prior exposure to aerospace requirements and practices
· Background in testing using pneumatic gauges and electrical test
equipment
Physical Demands:
· The employee frequently
is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with
hands and arms.
· The employee is
occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or
crawl.
· The employee must
frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move
up to 25 pounds.
· Specific vision abilities
required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision,
peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Tools / Equipment:
· Powered and hand tools to perform the function of product assembly. Some hand tools may have vibration.
Working Conditions:
· Temperature controlled factory environment.
