The Value You'll Bring To The Team:

• Manages a group of Security Officers at multiple locations who ensure the protection of the organization's facilities, patients, visitors and staff
• Builds and sustains partnerships with local law enforcement agencies
• Develops and enforces security procedures and regulations
• Acts as a liaison to all departments on security measures, procedures, and needs
• Lead security investigations in a legal and ethical manner
• Assigns responsibilities and tasks to support department function
• Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts and policies/procedures
• May be required to oversee dispatch communications
• Familiarity with safe firearm tactics

Education and Experience Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2 years of leadership experience
• Security or law enforcement experience
• Associates degree OR 2 years of leadership experience and security/law enforcement experience
• Valid driver's license
• IAHSS Certification Healthcare Security Supervisor to be acquired within one year of hire
