The Financial Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting management decision-making through financial analysis, reporting, and collaboration. This position is responsible for analyzing, interpreting, and presenting financial results to stakeholders and working closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, and R&D, to provide actionable financial insights.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.

Experience: 

  • 2+ years of financial analysis experience.

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency of Microsoft Excel required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Manufacturing experience preferred.

  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze key drivers of financial performance to provide meaningful insights for decision-making.

  • Develop and continuously improve management reporting and analysis for manufacturing operations on a regular and ad hoc basis.

  • Collaborate with the MIS team to design tools for efficient data collection and reporting (e.g., Power BI, MDS, cubes, pivot tables).

  • Prepare detailed monthly financial reporting packages, including variance analysis by market and product.

  • Support the development of annual plans and presentations for key stakeholders.

  • Partner with Sales to compile forecasts, analyze trends, and respond to requests for financial insights.

  • Work closely with the New Zealand financial analyst to ensure alignment of financial processes across locations.

  • Assist Sales in identifying opportunities through historical customer purchasing data analysis.

  • Continuously seek opportunities to streamline processes and improve reporting efficiency.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
