About the Opportunity:
The City of Greensboro is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Workforce Management (WFM) Consultant to provide short-term, hourly support during the City’s migration from Kronos to Infor Workforce Management. This temporary role is essential to ensuring accurate data processing, system stability, and excellent user support during this critical transition

The Hiring Range for this position is $44.77 - $50.10 per hour, depending on qualifications.
Work Schedule:
8 am-12 pm M-W-F
Key Responsibilities
Plan, design, and support efficient workforce systems and business processes.
Analyze and interpret data to support business cases, system improvements, and project needs.
Generate reports identifying root causes and recommend technical or process solutions.
Administer, configure, and troubleshoot Infor WFM, serving as backup support for GHR and Payroll.
Collaborate with internal staff and vendors to resolve issues and communicate impacts.
Conduct training and assist with process documentation and improvement initiatives.
Partner with the HR Compliance Officer to ensure systems reflect City policies and business rules.
Present technical findings and solutions through clear written reports and presentations.

- Hourly Employment: Roster positions are paid hourly and do not include benefits such as medical, dental, or vision insurance, life insurance, paid leave, or paid holidays.
- Limited Hours: Roster employees may work up to, but no more than, 1,000 hours in a 12 month period.
- Pension System: Roster positions are not eligible for membership in the city’s pension system.

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience with Workforce Management systems (Infor WFM and Kronos preferred).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage data accuracy and ensure reliable reporting across HR systems.
- Comfortable working with diverse teams and maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field preferred or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage data accuracy and ensure reliable reporting across HR systems.
