We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented ITGC SOX Compliance professional to support our organization’s IT compliance program. This role is responsible for evaluating, testing, and monitoring IT general controls (ITGCs) and application controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements. As senior, you will play a key role in managing control testing, supporting external auditors, and partnering with IT and business teams to remediate control deficiencies while gaining hands-on experience in risk and compliance frameworks.
What you will be doing:
- Monitor and assess internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX requirements.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather documentation and evidence for audits.
- Analyze processes and recommend improvements to strengthen control environments.
- Prepare and present reports on compliance status and audit findings.
- Support remediation efforts for identified control deficiencies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and best practices.
- Facilitate training sessions to promote SOX awareness across the organization.
What you will likely bring:
- 2+ years’ experience in compliance, audit, or related fields.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- Demonstrated expertise in regulatory compliance and internal controls.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
What could set you apart:
- 2-5 years of IT audit, IT compliance, or SOX testing experience (public accounting or industry).
- 1+ years of specialized experience in the Software industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Certification(s) such as CISA, CIA, or CPA or other relevant certifications.

Range:
Minimum: $50,000 USD Maximum: $130,000 USDThe salary range provided reflects the national average for this job title and does not represent compensation specific to Epicor Software Corporation. Actual compensation will vary based on experience, qualifications, and market factors relevant to the position.
