What the Role Is 

We are looking for a Business Operations Intern to join our team. As an Intern, you will support procurement and financial processes by creating and managing purchase orders, using our ERP system, maintaining data accuracy, and handling procurement inquiries. 

How You Will Spend Your Time? 

• Support IT budget management
• Prepare and process purchase orders (POs)
• Create purchase orders for committed SOWs
• Research invoices submitted to IT that do not have an existing PO.
• Create POs that fit the scope of spend (could be greater than the invoice totals)
• Code incoming invoices in IFS (ERP system) 
• Maintain ERP accuracy
• Handle day-to-day procurement inquiries
• Participate in other work as opportunities arise

Who You Are... 

• Currently a senior pursuing an Information Technology Management, Business Administration or related degree
• Technical knowledge of Microsoft programs, including Excel
• Knowledge of ERP systems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including previous customer service support
• Organized, detail-oriented and dependable

Physical Requirements
While performing duties of job, employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, and use of computer; reach with hands and arms. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
