Your Role

 

The Application Services team plays a critical role in enhancing customer and technical collaboration while delivering all application development through a Platform and Technology Product Operation Model. The DevOps Analyst will report to the Senior Manager, Product Line Manager. In this role you will be the comprehensive subject matter expert in the technology products/platform feature space and apply, learn, and extend your skills beyond formal role boundaries. Responsibilities

Your Work

 

In this role, you will:

  • Formulate and define system scope and objectives based on user needs for the highest complexity changes.
  • Analyze all aspects of business unit functions and mappings to determine application, integration, and optimal use of information systems.
  • Analyze, design, and implement EDI specifications and mappings to support electronic data interchange between internal systems and external trading partners.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot EDI transactions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of enrollment, claims, billing statements, and payments
  • Maintain documentation of EDI system changes, updates, and troubleshooting actions to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
  • Work directly with the Product Owner and business stakeholders to understand the business domain and upcoming required features.
  • Assist in creating, refining, and maintaining user stories and associated deliverables such as process flows and test cases to meet development and stakeholder needs.
  • Design and develop user interfaces and application programs using the technical specifications and design documents.
  • Monitor software configuration changes to anticipate and address the impact of data reliability and customer satisfaction issues.
  • Coordinate sustaining support for 1–2 application platforms or business processes.

Qualifications

Your Knowledge and Experience

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience.
  • Requires at least 7 years of directly related professional experience and deep technical abilities in one or more primary products, programs, or technologies.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to influence stakeholders and technical counterparts.
  • Demonstrated experience in collaborating with development and operations teams to streamline the product delivery lifecycle. 
  • Experience documenting agile workflows and processes.
  • Experience utilizing the tools and protocols such as EDIFACT, X12, XML, AS2, SFTP, SQL, and Sterling Integrator for secure and efficient data exchange.
  • Requires basic technical knowledge and experience including adherence to architectural design, development standards, security policies, and sustainable design practices

  • On-Site: Work from a business unit-approved office an average of four (4) or more days a week.

    Office Environment - roles involving part to full time schedule in Office Environment. Based in our physical offices and work from home office/deskwork - Activity level: Sedentary, frequency most of work day.
