Description
We are seeking an experienced IDG/CSD Technician & Tester. The CSD/IDG Technician is responsible for the disassembly, inspect, repair, and overhaul, modifications and reassembly of CSD components. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a 145 Repair Station environment and will interpret technical documents to carry out precise component work.
Essential Duties:
- Perform work assignments as determined by the shop management.
- Ensures that all work is performed in accordance with approved technical data, to customer supplications and regulatory requirements.
- Uses appropriate inspection techniques, and calibrated equipment for the unit/part being accomplished.
- Records information and accomplishes the work assignment in compliance with the Inspection Procedures Manual and Quality Policies and Procedures.
- Provide timely quotes of units.
- Maintain personal and shop calibrated tools is satisfactory operational condition.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Must be able to work as a team member and possess good inter-personal skills.
- Must have a good understanding of aviation related Fuel and methods and processes
- Working knowledge of Federal Aircraft Regulations (FAR).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, Standard Repair Manuals (SRM), & component maintenance manuals (CMM).
- Work overtime as required by production requirements.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Must read and write the English language.
- 1 year Minimum Experience in Aerospace industry with mechanical aptitude required.
- Ability to troubleshoot most if not all problems in our processes and equipment.
- Flexibility to work beyond 40 hours/week as required.
- Represents strong familiarity to MRO production processes.
