This role serves as the main interface with our other BAE Systems sites for the purposes of processing, reconciling and settling intercompany transactions. In addition, there will be support of Treasury activities.
The role will be responsible for the following items:
Support collection of outstanding invoices
Process incoming invoices for booking and eventual payment
Interface with internal teams to identify proper charging guidance
Report on monthly activity to Finance and other functions
Complete journal entries
General Ledger account reconciliations
Support Treasury activity around payment issuance, responding to payment status inquiries and bank account maintenance
Compliance
Complete Internal Control reviews and report results to Management
Support internal and external audit activities
Support special projects
Participate on or contribute to process / quality improvement teams and / or initiatives
Support and implement performance driven changes in processes and procedures
Performs other duties and responsibilities as required

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance with 0 – 2 years of related experience.
- Strong communication, analytic and problem solving skills.
- Must be team oriented and able to work independently with limited supervision.
- Must have prior finance or accounting experience.
- The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to drive to a conclusion with adequate follow through and issue resolution.
- Initiative to take on ad hoc requests and projects and identify areas for improvement.
